So far our salads have been fabulous! Wine is great! More to come.....Lamb chops to die for!

We pass Little Falls on the way to the lake and came to yelp looking for something other than a chain to eat. Totally worth the stop. The atmosphere is cafe crossed with a wine bar. The food was terrific and the wine selection is better than your average fare boasting names like David Bruce. I had the cheesy garlic burger and well worth the $10 price tag. Yum. Can't wait for the next trip!

Very family friendly. Food was very good and prices reasonable. Definitely worth the stop. Considering the local options this is the stand out choice.

I have been going to this place for a few years and the quality and the service keeps getting worse and worse. I WANT to like this place, but it is no longer even a decent restaurant. My salad had what looked like a plastic protective cover from a dressing container in the dressing. When I sent it back, they claimed it was blue cheese. Blue cheese is not made out of plastic. Next I ordered the special (Prime Rib). All my food was cold. The prime rib, the vegetables and the potatoes all were cold. Since I was there with my wife and some of her friends, I just ate the cold food A waitress dropped a pack of menus on my wife and looked like she was about to lose it. This was a same waitress that charged me three times for the same meal one of the previous times I was at the restaurant. The service of this place SUCKS. I would think that foreign objects in my salad would warrant at least a dessert or a percentage off my bill. Nope. Nothing. Only an Oopps. There was one good waitress and she has left. There was time when this was an excellent place to eat. A gem in a small town. Now it is a restaurant where I would rather go to taco bell.

Stumbled accross The Black & White with Yelp's help. Exceptionally crafted fare professionally served without pretension. All four in our party raved about all we ordered. Thank you A & T. Well done!

Pleasant surprise. Simple menu with a little flair. I had the olive burger and it was amazing. Our waitress was nice and efficient.

This restaurant is where? I would drive back up to Little Falls to ONLY go to A. T. The Black & White. This is place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The food is PHENOMENAL. The ambiance is retro and pretty damn impressive as well. The drinks? Can't go wrong with wine OR craft beer. The kicker? The quality and the AMAZINGLY inexpensive prices. I know this isn't downtown Minneapolis so they can't inflate the prices too much, but really? They could still raise their prices and I would still drive all the way up to Little Falls to go here. I can't even begin to describe how good the food is because I'll get too hungry, but everything from the salads to the pasta to the soup- is delicious. Whatever you get here, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back, sooner than later!

I don't often find myself in Little Falls, but the few times I have I always make sure to go to Black & White. Great food, and friendly service. Just make sure to check ahead of time if they're open that day.

The Black and White is one of those places that is deceiving on the outside, but excellent on the inside. Their decor is really neat. They have a wide range of food that all tastes phenomenal. They have a salads, burgers, wraps and more. They also serve beer. If you ever find yourself in Little Falls, A.T. The Black & White is a must-go.

So be warned this is the ONLY restaurant in this town. And it is closed Monday and Tuesday evenings. However I did get to come here for lunch. I ordered the Walleye sandwich and fries. Which were good, but certainly not as amazing as some of the reviews make out. It does have a cool feel complete with authentic sloping wooden floors. The service was quick, and I had a business call so I say way at the back away from the crowds. I would be back if in Little Falls again. But given it's either this place or Burger King that aint saying much :-)

You kidding me? OK, you're driving on Hwy. 10, getting hungry, thinking Little Falls might be a good place to stop and eat. But what's in Little Falls? You suppose there are a couple fast-food places, and probably a Perkins, or something equivalent. Not sure exactly what you're hungry for, so the person in the passenger seat pulls up Yelp to see what's available. You see in the list a place called A.T. The Black & White. What to do? My advice: Go out of your way and stop here. Don't think twice, it'll be alright. (Yes, I know Hibbing isn't in your plans if you're driving on 10, but it's still Minnesota - Dylan, ya know, times they are a changing'). What you'll find is creative, chef-driven delicious menu selections at reasonable prices. This place will satisfy the foodie wife/meat-and-potatoes husband combo or the I'm-really-hungry wife/I'm-not-in-the-mood-for-fast-food husband combo or the I-would-really-like-oustanding-food couple, or the ... you get the idea. They also have a great beer selection featuring interesting local and micro-brews. Could definitely see myself sitting there someday tasting them all. I wished I lived in Little Falls, or near Little Falls, so I could visit here more often, (I know they're small, but I'd like to see the falls, too) but I'll have to settle for stopping next time I'm traveling in the area. We did once - great decision.

We were looking for a place to have lunch on our way back from Bemidji and what a gem we found with this place. The food was great and the service was very good. We wished we could have stayed for happy hour since they look to have some nice wine and beer. You have to give this place a try if your near Little Falls.

So good!!! Came from st.cloud just to try something a little different. The spinach dip was amazing, so creamy delish. Even the bread was good. The sweet peppered bacon was awesome on my sandwich and they serve creamy cucumbers as a side, which is a nice change to the usual fries and tator tots. Will definitely be going back, just wish we lived closer. Yum!

A.T. The Black and White offers everything I admire in a restaurant experience. Simply a fantastic place to stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert as the food is creative, local, fresh, and delicious. Hard to believe that this place is in downtown Little Falls because their food would fit in downtown Minneapolis or Chicago but in a way that just makes it all the more awesome.

An island of good food, good service in a sea of marginal food choices. Kid's chicken fingers and fresh fruit, chicken/black bean quesidilla with fresh guacamole, wonderful homemade black bean burger with sweet potato fries...we were practically swatting hands away from each other's plates. There is no doubt we will return to this hidden gem. Kudos to the owners for providing such a quality experience!

I would never have expected such a great meal in such a small town in MN. I had the Ceasar salad and my wife had the shrimp salad. They were both made with very fresh ingredients and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The service was perfect.

Had the special breakfast sandwich - croissant, egg, sugar cured bacon, jalapeno aoili, cheese. OMG this was good. How do you make a breakfast sandwich new and craveable? Honestly, I didn't think it was possible, but this sandwich did it. Plus, its a very friendly place, I sat at the pennisula table with a bunch of colorful regulars. Stopped on a whim, glad I did. Yum.

Wow. We expected the food to be good, but really it was amazing. The artichoke dip is so creamy with just the right amount of fresh garlic. My son scraped every last bit out of the dish. Two of us had the bruschetta pasta, wonderful blend of flavors. The blackened shrimp wrap was a nice mix of spice and sweet, but light if you don't want a heavy meal. I feel like some of the other reviewers and wish we lived closer so we could enjoy this restaurant more often!

Great food and service! Based on reviews I Ordered the blackened shrimp wrap with pineapple salsa and it lived up to the reviews! Very good! The rest of our family ordered breakfast, that too was good. Biscuits and gravy were excellent. On Sunday's they offer a all you can eat Omelet bar as well.

Really good food, great wine list! We loved every dish, from the artichoke dish to rack of lamb. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Every bit as good as the other ratings say. Retro, comfortable restaurant, stupendous customer service, and I would eat there every day for lunch and dinner if I could just to enjoy every single dish they make. Sweet Potato Fries were very good, the Black Bean Burger was amazing, and the blackened shrimp wrap was one to write home about. It also has an excellent line-up of craft beers.

I love this place! Ci and I used to not be Urban rats. We used to live in small town Northern MN. The Black & White was a godsend for us. We could walk in, and feel like we were in Uptown Minneapolis or the artsy NE Mpls. The jive of the place was phenomenal and the food was addicting. The quality and the hand craftiness of the food was so unique and well tended to, by the time it was presented, it looked like a piece of art. It was Napa Valley food in small town Minnesota!! Really? I can not even mention all the delicious items we have eaten here but here are a few musts to try: Pasta dishes with Alfredo sauce Beef Burgundy Lobster Mac and Cheese Scallops-OMG-This is what I always order if they have it..Scallops in like a bacon type of sauce..Just anything with Scallops I promise you will love! I have even eaten lunch there and the burgers are out of this world. On Fridays, they have Bananas Foster so you can watch them cook those delicious bananas and sugar right before your eyes...Way Kool!! You wont find any better in that neck of the woods!!

Drove through Little Falls on the way north for the weekend and stopped here for lunch based on Yelp reviews. My fellow Yelpers did it again, leading me to this gem. Now granted, prices were a little high, especially being in a small town, but the food was delicious. I had the Signature Salad, my hubby had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, my 5 yr old ordered the kids mac and cheese and my 4 yr old had the kids pepperoni pizza. Everything tasted great. Fresh and filling. They also have a nice selection of local beers on tap. This place is highly recommended.

Tuesday night comfort food specials are the bomb. We had the beef stew in a bread bowl. Yum, yum, yum. The special is announced early Tuesday evening. If it were announced a little earlier, that would be nice. Nom, nom, nom.

Awesome and unique sandwiches and salads. Their signature salad was amazing and so were the sweet potato fries. I got the chicken sandwich as my main course and you can add the side items for only $1-$2. Their mini rolls are also some of the best I've had. They are shaped like little balls and have really good seasoning. They have a pretty good beer and wine selection too. I just got a Pinot Noir but my boyfriend got a really good strawberry beer. The music and lighting makes the ambiance kind of romantic.

As good as it gets outside of Minneapolis. Awesome foccacia bread balls. The special (steak) fell short of expectations, but the salmon and regular steak medallions were top notch. I would go back for those.

I took a client here and I was not disappointed. I had the fish sandwich with the cranberry aioli with sweet potato fries. My client had the salad and my coworker the sandwich with the clam chowder. I will go back if I am ever in Little Falls again.

I stopped today at a place which we have been to many times and love. Being a crab cake snob tried their crab cakes for the first time. They were wonderful. I personally loved the pairing with ranch chipotle sauce on top along with delicate lettuce bed. Not being very hungry thought this would be just enough happened to hear clam chowder was the soup of the day. So now I had to also place a order for a cup of that. What a great place to start or end your day. Their brunch is amazing too. the food is paired with small town down home service. If traveling, this is a must stop off Hwy 10!

Very nice place. Ordered crab cakes for the appetizer and prime rib for the main meal. Everything was great. What a gem to find in a small town as we were passing through.
